About Me

Sacramento-bred super producer Zairyus Anthony Pilani Jackson, better known by his stage name Kacey Khaliel, has been making beats ever since he was a teenager.

The 24-year-old phenom started producing around the age of 16 while living at his mom’s house on a program called FL Studio. He decided to play with the program after his older brother downloaded it to their home computer. Realizing he had a natural knack for making beats, he began selling them at his high school. He quickly gained a name for himself in the city, becoming the go-to producer for the hottest beats. This caught the ears of Jive Records, who signed the young producer to a deal where he placed records with artists such as Huey, OJ Da Juiceman, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti and New Boyz among others, under the direction of Memphitz. A year later he split with Jive to launch a production team with his best friend Adrian “Jet” Perkins called the CaliBoyzClub, garnering a loyal fan base and has been recognized in the industry for having smooth, dark, club-ready production.

Kacey also had a long run under Washington Redskin’s wide receiver Desean Jackson’s Jaccpot records, where he produced and recorded songs for those under the label including his best friend, late-rapper Kid Cali. Eventually, that deal came to an end. Jackson let Kacey out of his contract and he became a free agent by the end of 2015.

While still making beats for those within the music industry, French Montana briefly signed him to a production deal to be part of his Coke Boy team. The deal was quickly put to a halt by an industry heavy-weight, again making the talented beatmaker a free agent.

In 2016, Blac Youngsta dropped his hit single and visual “Beat It” off his Fuck Everybody mixtape featuring Rich Homie Quan, blessed with the production of Kacey Khaliel. The song climbed the Billboard charts as the push for Kid Red’s single “Bounce” featuring Chris Brown and Migos began.

Kacey has landed production placements with Chris Brown, Wale, 2 Chainz, Migos, Blac Youngsta, Mistah Fab, Ray J, Mozzy, Yo Gotti, Too Short and Kid Red among others.
